DANCORE was created as a national network for coastal research in connection with the EU funded ENCORA project (European Network on Coastal Research).
2009
DANCORE became a local branch of the Coastal & Marine Union (EUCC).
Today
DANCORE operates as an independent national non-profit network for professionals and students with an interest in the fields of coastal and marine research and management.
We focus on
Professional networking and knowledge sharing amongst scientists, environmentalists, managers and planners.
We aim at
Bridging the gaps between different natural science disciplines and linking to coastal development, planning and management.
We welcome
Professionals and students.
Membership is free of charge.
DANCORE Day
The DANCORE Day is an annual thematic event focusing on coastal and marine trends.
DANCORE Young Professionals Day
The DANCORE Young Professionals Day is an annual event aimed at students and young professionals from various disciplines presenting novel research.
