Amager Beach Park
The Integrated Coastal Zone Management section of DANCORE will provide a summary of projects and players involved. For this reason, sub-sections with information on research projects, links and documents are introduced. This information will include both ongoing and finished projects, such as environmental impact assessment studies regarding windmill parks at sea, recreational beach parks, major bridge connections etc.
Furthermore, formal policies from Denmark and the European Union related to Integrated Coastal Zone Management will be linked and documented. The ICZM section will also provide information about events and calls for new projects, workshops, conferences and courses.
The ICZM activities of DANCORE are coordinated by Aart Kroon who is a physical geographer and geomorphologist, working since 2005 in the Department of Geography and Geology, Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen.
